Terms of Service
The agreement between you and jayBird, LLC when we host your system. Last updated: 31 August 2026.Who this is between
These terms are between jayBird, LLC (“we”, “us”) and the company or person who signs up (“you”). Signing up means accepting them. If you are signing up for a company, you are confirming you may bind it.What we provide
A hosted installation of Odoo Community Edition on infrastructure we operate, at a subdomain of bitbolt.io, with its own database, plus a small set of modules we maintain. We run the server, the database and the backups. What the software does is Odoo’s; what keeps it running is ours.Odoo is a registered trademark of Odoo S.A. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Odoo S.A., and what we host is the open-source edition, not Odoo Enterprise.Seats, price and billing
$25 per user, per month. A user is a person who can sign in. You choose how many seats you hold and can change that number at any time by asking us; added seats are billed from the next cycle, and reductions take effect at the next cycle rather than as a refund mid-month.The first 14 days are free. A card is required to start, and it is not charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the card is charged. Billing is monthly, in advance, through Stripe — we never see or store your card number. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancel at any time and the subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate a partial month. If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. If it stays unpaid we may suspend access after notice, and your data is kept for the retention window below before anything is removed.Your data is yours
You own everything you put in. We claim no rights over it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything. We process it only to run the service for you, as set out in the hosting privacy policy, which forms part of these terms and covers breach notification, our sub-processors and where the data physically lives. You can export your data at any time using Odoo’s own export tools, and you can ask us for a full database dump. Because this is standard Odoo rather than a fork, what you take out is usable elsewhere. After you cancel or we terminate, your database and its backups are kept for 30 days so an accident can be undone, then deleted. Backups are retained for one year and expire on their own schedule. Ask us within those 30 days and we will send you a copy. What you agree not to do
Do not use the service to break the law, to send bulk unsolicited mail, to store or distribute malware, to attack anyone, or to share one seat between several people. Do not resell the hosting or operate it as a service for third parties. Do not try to reach other customers’ systems or the infrastructure underneath your own.You are responsible for what the people you give seats to do with them, and for keeping their sign-in secure.Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available continuously and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not offer a contractual uptime figure, and would rather say so plainly than publish one we have not measured over enough time to stand behind. Support is by the form on this site, and we aim to answer within one business day.Software licences
Odoo Community Edition and the other open-source components are licensed by their own authors under their own terms, principally the LGPL-3, and nothing here restricts rights those licences give you. The Bitbolt modules we add are proprietary and licensed to you only for use with the service for as long as you are a customer.Warranties and liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided as-is without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data beyond our obligation to maintain backups as described above. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.Ending it
You may cancel at any time. We may terminate for non-payment after notice, or immediately for use that breaks the section above or exposes us or other customers to real risk. If we terminate without cause we will refund the unused portion of what you have paid.Changes
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then if you do not accept it. Changes are published at this address with a new date at the top.Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stands.jayBird, LLC. Questions about these terms go through the support form on this site.© 2026 jayBird, LLC · Bitbolt is developed by jayBird, LLC
